Summer Camp
The Summer Camp program is a vital part of the Children's Ministry at Harvest. Each summer, hundreds of boys and girls spend a portion of their summer with our Children's Ministry Staff sweating, smiling and learning more about Jesus.
A Few Facts:
Students must be 3 years old through fifth grade in order to attend
Our younger campers must be fully potty trained
6 weeks of fun! You decide which week(s) your child will attend.
Early morning drop option is provided. There will be no late/extended day option this year.
Students bring their own snacks and water bottle each day
Typical Daily Schedule
8:45-9:05 Team Time
Campers gather in their team rooms to meet the counselors and fellow campers on their team. At this time they'll review the day's schedule, get their name tag, hang with friends and prepare for the morning "March In" to the opening rally.
9:05-9:25 Morning Rally
Kids gather together to start the day with singing, wild and crazy games, skits, and lots more. It's the perfect way to get excited and ready for the day. Each day there's something special planned! You might be selected for the "Impossible Shot" where you could win a $100 Shopping Spree or you might get to launch an Angry Bird from our 7-foot slingshot. Whatever happens.... it'll be a blast!
9:30-12:00 Acts 1-4
Each team will rotate through all of our "acts" throughout the day.
The order changes from day to day, depending on the team:
Inflatables- There's no better way to beat the heat than to slip down one of our awesome summer water slides.
Game Zone- Get ready to compete in some wacky games. We've got tons of fun in store as we race, run, build, slide, swing, jump, yell, scoot, swish, and cheer. It's a great time each day to help your team earn "Team of the Week."
Zoom Room- We want to see our kids grow in the Lord at camp so we've got a cool time just for that. You'll play games, hear stories, act things out, and learn what it's like to live how God wants us to live.
STEM- Our students will have a blast experimenting with hands-on fun. Integrated activities will enable students to think, ponder, predict, and collaborate.
Crafts- Let your creative juices flow in our craft shop! We're not just making silly stuff; you'll get the chance to make some really neat art.
Snack- We have a designated snack time each day that is connected to one of the five acts listed above. Kids need a few minutes of downtime to refuel. We'll make sure they get it!
12:10-12:!10 Pack Up
12:10 Closing Rally
At the end of the day, we'll all get back together to wrap things up with some awards and a few
more crazy games. This is a perfect way to end each day.
