3 Year Olds

Overview & Options

Our Pre-K children begin each day with learning through play.  Throughout their morning, the children focus on numbers 1-20, Bible memorization and the beginning of phonics-based reading.  Each alphabet letter is introduced phonetically and practiced throughout the week.  Weekly learning themes are also included (Artic Animals, Career Week, etc. ) to integrate joy and a variety of academic objectives.

Ms. Talise

I am the oldest of 10 siblings and have been happily married to my husband, Alex, for three years.  I am a dancer and have been with Burlington Academy of Dance & Arts for nine years. I danced with them for five years, and after graduating in 2017, I became part of their faculty. I teach many classes including KinderMotions, KinderDance, Ballet/Tap, Contemporary, Ballet, and Acro. I am currently a member of the National Dance Education Organization. I am furthering my education through them to receive my Certification in Dance Education.

This will be my second year with The Learning Center. I love working with children, and I am excited about this new opportunity that God has allowed me to be a part of.

Ms. Caitlyn

I am married to my husband Blake and we have two beautiful boys, Mason is five years old, and Callan who just turned two!

This is my fourth year teaching at The Learning Center! One thing I love most about teaching little ones is how much they grow socially and academically in such a short time. I am so excited to start this new year with your child!

Ms. Geilia

I am the fourth oldest of ten siblings so I have been around children my entire life! I worked for Chick-fil-A for three years and am currently working on my cosmetology license.

I began my adventure with The Learning Center in the spring of 2023.  I never imagined how much joy it would bring to be able to teach little ones.  I love the students' sense of wonder, their wit, and their ability to learn quickly. I look forward to a wonderful year!
